Personalised Flower Cushion

A new cushion for TOGS! Still very similar in style to the original incy cushion, but I've make the colours a bit brighter and added a bit of flower detail. The boys one will have similar lettering, with a boat design added at the bottom. (See below for more details about the boys cushion)
This will be available at togs in a few days, once I've sorted out the listing details.

I just love this dotted Swiss cotton - with the felt text & flowers and linen blocks you just want to keep running your fingers across it!
100% cotton envelope cushion with large overlap/fully lined/cushion measures approx 30x30cm

Chutney Beads

I've been meaning to do a post about Chutney Beads for some time now, but there has always been other crafty stuff pop up to blog about (sorry chutney!) .... But I'm now very sad to say they're closing down, as the owner is moving on to bigger and better things.
So I'm a tad late in this post, but please go take a peek ... lots of gorgeous unique beaded jewellery. Chutney Beads
____

Chutney also made me this one-off bracelet for Christmas. It has beads from a different bracelet that Hub brought me from our honeymoon in Venice.

Gorgeous chutney tagged bracelet with Venetian beads.

And check out these Chutney takeaway kits if you fancy making your own piece of chutney jewellery!

Ladybirds on natural linen background.

Plus Em has been busy making her Nana's birthday present which you can see here .... (No looking Nana!) Butterfly Bag - Personalised
I found these great bags on knot just jigs website. - the perfect gift for her Nana and it will make a great reusable shopping bag! As you can see I obviously helped out with the colouring, but a good effort for a 2 year old.

French Knot Sheep

I’ve wanted to do some of these for ages, in fact ever since I saw this cute little woolie on the feeling stitchy blog last year …
Le Mouton
___
So I found 5 minutes spare, grabbed a scrap of fabric and here are my first 2 french knot woolies ...

ewe two - french knot sheep with machine appliquéd felt and hand stitched 'Baa'. Stretched over card then mounted on a ivory board.

Not brilliant, but i'm pleased with them for my first attempt. In fact so pleased that they are now mounted up and ready for sale.

Close up of french knots
____
And here is what I’m currently working on …____
___
Now those are cute! I think they work better on the darker fabric and look even more cute at half the size. This will hopefully be in my Esty shop very soon.

Happy New Year

I meant to post this yesterday, but I've been a bit under the weather for the past few days. So I've just popped on to wish you all a fantastic 2008 before I head back to my soft pillow, fleecy blanket and warm milk before bed.
___
I will be back soon once I've got rid of this bug! But just wanted to say a big thank you (again) to all that read my blog, and here's hoping for a successful 2008.
